Seika Notetaker Release Notes Copyright (C) 2023 Tsinghua Univ. The firmware only for the mini16, mini24, mini24-voice, v6 and v6Pro. How to update the firmware manually: 1. Put the BIN firmware file into the root path of the U-disk on your PC. Please make sure there is only one BIN file in the U-disk. 2. Connect the U-disk to your Seika Braille Notetaker. 3. Turn off the Seika Braille Notetaker. 4. Keep pressing Space + u (1-3-6 + Space) and turn the power on. 5. When it displays "update", release the Space+u and then press Enter (Dot8), and it will begin the update process. 6. Wait and there will be prompted to restart, turn off the Seika Braille Notetaker. 7. You have successfully updated the firmware. How to update the mlib file: 1. Put the dat mlib file in the root path of the U-disk on your PC. Make sure there is only one mlib file in the U-disk. 2. Connect the U-disk to your Seika Notetaker. 3. Turn on the Seika Notetaker. 4. Press the Space+dots123456 to start the update. 5. Wait and the main menu will be displayed again after the update. 6. You have successfully updated the mlib file. Seika Notetaker v1.023: ======================= 1.Add 4 function keys for auto scroll: speed up: LJ_RIGHT, RJ_RIGHT. speed down: LJ_LEFT, RJ_LEFT. You should press Space+dots15 or Enter when you quite auto scroll. 2.You can Save As the current editing or reading file to the different folder, which can be in the sd-card or u-disk.
